Genia joined Chestnut Run Capital in 2024, bringing over two decades of investment industry expertise. As a pivotal team member, she leads the firm’s fundraising initiatives and cultivates strong, enduring relationships with limited partners.

Previously, at Allspring Global Investments, Genia specialized in distributing and marketing the firm’s Global Liquidity Solutions to drive sales growth. She managed relationships with financial intermediaries and institutional clients, while spearheading business and strategic initiatives for the liquidity and multi-asset investment solutions divisions.

Earlier in her career, at Wells Fargo Asset Management, Genia focused on alternative investments product development. She also gained extensive experience in investment risk management and mergers and acquisitions, consistently building a reputation for delivering impactful results and fostering lasting partnerships.

Genia holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from Concord University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a CFA® and CAIA charter holder and an active member of the CFA Society of North Carolina.
