Ella Komlanvi joined Chestnut Run Capital Partners in 2025 as a Senior Associate on the investment team, where she focuses on deal execution, portfolio management, fundraising, and leading the firm’s impact initiatives.

Her career has centered on advancing sustainable and inclusive growth in the U.S. and emerging markets. With five years of experience spanning banking, strategy, and international development finance, she has worked across sectors including infrastructure, financial services, and manufacturing.

Before joining Chestnut Run, Ella was with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets. At IFC, she supported over $300 million in investment and advisory projects across financial services, infrastructure, and energy.

She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank, gaining experience in both middle-market commercial banking and financial planning and analysis for the Wealth and Investment Management group.

Ella holds an MBA in Finance and Sustainability from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
